My Students

I teach 7th grade general education and gifted students in Language Arts. These kids are wanting to read more and more, but my book sources are limited. Although my class is reading/writing combined, we place a heavy emphasis on reading!

My Project

I have found that my students thrive in print-rich reading environment. My gifted students have just finished reading "Catching Fire" by Suzanne Collins, and they've expressed an interest in reading the next book, "Mockingjay."

My other classes have expressed an interest in reading, "The Watsons Go to Birmingham," but I'd love for them to read a physical book instead of reading a book online.

Contributing to this project will help my students continue their love for reading by having actual books in place versus reading online and having eye strain.
