My students need comfortable seating. These portable beanbags would not only serve as comfortable seating for my students but they would also be great for sitting away from others when they need solidarity.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students range in my classroom are between the ages of (6-12) and grades (1-5) and are suffering from Social Emotional Behaviors. Some of my students have trouble adjusting to society because they were either born with an illness or have been traumatized by an event or several events in their young lives that they are not able to comprehend. This causes them to get easily frustrated and down right angry. These children need help and I will do anything in my power to get them what they need. These students are so young, they do not understand what is happening to them when they are this frustrated.
My Project
My students use the beanbags we currently have so much that we have duct taped them several times over and we need new ones.
My students enjoy sitting in the soft, comfortable beanbags when they need quiet time and/or alone time.
They can either sit and think, look out the window or read a book. Sometimes, i use it as a reward for completing assignments and they enjoy reading books and doing assignments whilst sitting in bean bags.
Sitting in the beanbags gives them a sense of security. They can move them around the room and sit near a wall or under the table comfortably.
