This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students. What can I say? They are full of life, are curious, and have tons of energy (like a nuclear power plant!).

But that's ok, because I them love they just the way they are.

You see, as a physical education teacher I channel this energy and playfulness with games and sports. Children's very nature is the main incredient to run a successful physical education program.

My Project

Being in distance learning, most students don't have equipment to play with at home. Some of them rely on want the school provides at the school. In other words, some have nothing to play with.

Having a bean bag at home will aliviate this situation.

Specially in PE lessons that involve throwing and catching. But there are other practical usues as well. For example, bean bags can be use to practice balancing skills. I'll ask my students to hold some yoga poses while balancing a bean bag. They love the challenge.
