Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My school is one of a few dual language schools in the area, and we serve a diverse group of students. We are a Title I school and provide ample opportunity in the classroom for successful learning. In addition, our school provides students with opportunity to participate in outside activities such as sports, cultural events, and exposure to things in the community they may not otherwise have the opportunity to see.

Students are eager for enriched learning and educational opportunity!

My Project

As an Instructional Technology educator, I strive to expose and teach my students about the world of computers and technology. Although I have a technology rich classroom, it is limited to desktop computers.

We are requesting five bean bag seats so that I can create a "Bean Bag iPad Station".

This will offer opportunity for learners to rotate stations during their time in my class. As one group of students use desktops computers, another group can be engaged in whole group instruction, while another group can be using iPads in a comfortable setting. Thank you all for your support in this beneficial project.
