My students need 2 Majestic Home Goods Bean Bag chairs to practice their sight words with me in small groups.

My students like to learn with hands-on activities. They love to learn and love lots of positive attention. Many of them are being raised in single parent households and receive a free lunch based on their socioeconomic status. These things may prevent them from getting ahead early in life and may not provide them with the life experiences many of us have had.
My kids get so excited to have one-on-one time learning new sight words!
They work hard each day to learn them and they need to feel that they are doing a good job. I currently have 2 bean bags in my room but I don't have enough for all of my students to use. Students get in their bean bags and sit next to me on the floor and we spend some quality one-on-one time learning their sight words. This means a lot to them and they truly appreciate this time. I like to have creative and fun ways to teach my students in order to inspire them to continue on a path of academic excellence and success.
These bean bag chairs will make the dullness of learning sight words much more exciting. Not only will they have one-on-one time with me in the bean bag chairs, but the chairs make them feel comfortable as if they are at home learning. This builds community among my students and makes them want to learn and strive more.
Allowing my students to move from the table to the bean bag chairs helps manage the "wigglies" my Kindergarteners get when they are sitting at the table too long.
Students feel free to move around and because they have this freedom, they enjoy learning more.
