My Students

My students are resilient critical thinkers and during this unprecedented time they are working hard to continue to learn. They are adapting to this new way of learning while still navigating through this uncertain time in the world. They inspire me and make me proud every day!

My Project

I have always told my students that I am a lifelong learner and I believe knowledge is power. During this unprecedented time, I want to be the example for my students and show them that continuing to learn is important and vital. While providing them with online learning, I want to learn ways to improve my teaching and provide a better learning experience in my classroom. These online courses were designed by Stanford Professor and #1 selling author, Jo Boaler. She has a unique method of teaching and presenting mathematical concepts to engage students and provide them the opportunity to visual and explore mathematics. My goal is to be a teacher who engages all of my students and makes learning math an enjoyable experience.
