Help me give my students more accessibility to learning with protective iPad cases!
This project expired on March 28, 2019.
Hooray! This project is fully funded
I teach Exceptional Children, who are the most loving students and work hard to please the teacher. They come to school each day ready to try new things and to grow both personally and academically. Truly, they are my inspiration!
I teach in a Title I school in North Carolina where all students receive free breakfast and lunch.
Although many of the students receive backpack food on the weekend, my students come to school ready to learn, in an environment where they are loved, and eager to succeed.
My students love working on computers, but due to their disabilities, they require touchscreen technology. Although we have iPads with this feature, the students are not able to use them freely because we do not have protective cases for them. The students are limited to where they can move to work on the iPads. In order to increase student's accessibility to engage in learning on the carpet area or move around the room, my students need cases to protect the iPads from getting damaged.
Students utilize iPads to access learning apps, instructional games, and motivating educational activities.
With new protective cases, my students will be able to learn on the iPads in a variety of settings throughout the school.
