Mr. Qurbani from Brooklyn NY is requesting sports & exercise equipment through DonorsChoose, the most trusted classroom funding site for teachers.
Help me give my students basketballs and a basketball rack to place those equipment.

As a teacher in a low-income/high poverty school district, my students are faced with several challenges both in and out of the classroom. Despite the many challenges they face, I am looking to keep things simple and provide my students with creative and meaningful learning experiences.
We have very little physical education supplies to provide our future youth opportunities to enjoy different kinds of physical fitness activities.
Because of limited budgets, we rely on procuring equipment through outside funding. Therefore, a day in my classroom will find me searching for supplies to educate the students.
My students come from war torn countries and are a very diverse population trying to adjust to their new community. They are amazing students that are ready and eager to learn different physical activities. They are also surrounded by a loving staff who do their best to not only teach each and every student, but also to provide any additional support necessary to help each child achieve their personal goals.
The materials and supplies that I am requesting for my students already have an impact on my students. The students love to play basketball, but at the moment we have only one to two basketballs that are good. Our other basketballs have holes in them so the air keeps on seeking out. But even with the basketballs in such shape the students still have a bright smile on their faces while they play.
Our students are from war torn countries and in these sports they seek refuge.
As these sports give are students the opportunity to be kids and to just enjoy themselves. I will be using the equipment for a future basketball unit that I will like to teach in the near future. With the multiple basketballs it will allow me to teach a lesson with little to no waiting time. The equipment will promote success and encourage the student to keep on playing basketball. But I need your help to make this happen.
