This project will focus on students from large urban district, whom are very active, curious, and intelligent. The students here come from a wide range of communities that represent the city the school is located in very well. The school feels very welcoming, I know I felt that the first day I entered the building and many families, visitors, & students say their experience is similar.
Our neighborhood community supports our school in many ways from financial to volunteering.
Many parents are very involved with their students academic, athletic, and social interests of the school. As a department we do our best to try and make science come alive by building partnership, offering unique curriculum, and supporting student inquiry.
My Project
Our team is in desperate need of training equipment to play soft-toss and improve safety during practices. We will use the PowerNet Baseball and Softball Practice Net 7 x 7 with bow frames to setup stations during training for soft toss, pitching practice, and more.
As an urban, "No-Cut" middle school baseball program skill development and training is a priority aspect of what we do.
We want to be able to provide more opportunities for our players to grow and be engaged in baseball.
The ATEC 7-Feet Sq Pitchers "L" Protective Screen will be used to protect players and coaches during various drills in practice. We currently do not have any of these pieces of equipment and would appreciate being able to improve the baseball opportunities we provide.
