We are a small, personalized, alternative high school in Wyoming. Our neighborhood school seeks to meet the unique strengths of diverse learners, and with only 60 students, we can achieve this! Our class sizes are uniquely small, some classes have as few as two students! Many of our learners are on non-traditional paths; some aspiring to earn a GED or Hi-Set credential, many participate in job training internships to help prepare for the workforce, and many come from other schools in the district. We offer relevant classes such as cooking, woodworking, job training, etc., to best prepare our students for success outside high school. Despite their unique paths, all students, grades 9-12, deserve a music education! With our small class sizes and individualized learning plans, we can reach all types of learners!
In August 2019, our school began offering music classes for the first time in its history; an exciting opportunity for the community!
But, we need your help in acquiring materials. Students have the chance to participate in a wide variety of instrumental, vocal, and live music adventures (no experience necessary).
My Project
We have two beautiful, cherry-red bases that need amps to magnify their sound.
Help my students have the gift of groovy, low-end sounds for our modern band experience.
These amps will provide my students with the opportunity to learn electric bass!
Our modern band group currently has a drummer, guitarists, and singers. The only missing ingredient is bass! These amps will help us have a complete and full band sound. With your help, we will find a rich, full, ensemble sound for the myriad of musical styles we are exploring as a group. Thank you for considering helping us add these bass amps to our classroom!
