My goal is to ensure that my students have all the supplies and materials needed to reach their highest potential all year long!
My school is a wonderful place where teachers are dedicated to developing critical thinkers and independent learners who will reach their highest potential, through high expectations, in an engaging environment. We are in a very high poverty community and many of my students come from lower socio-economic situations. However, my students are wonderful children that have a desire to learn and succeed. I want to provide a comfortable learning environment that will engage every learner. Students must be engaged to learn and truly reach their fullest learning potential. New school supplies for ALL of my students will help student engagement and learning.
My Project
These baskets will help my students keep their independent reading materials organized. Independent reading is so important! I want my students to pick books they are interested in and be able to access them quickly and easily throughout the school day!

I want my students to love to read! These baskets will help house reading materials of various levels and topics. I believe having these materials organized and readily available will help encourage my students to want to read. These materials will help our classroom library grow and work more efficently!
