My students need high-quality indoor basketballs for use in our practice drills and games.

I teach gym to low income but highly spirited children at a very special urban elementary school on the South side of Dallas Texas. Each of our 540 students, grades kindergarten through 5th, has the opportunity to engage in a lesson about their bodies, nutrition, and exercise for 45 minutes, 3 times a week in PE class. Each of my students are unique but one thing they all have in common is their wealth of energy! I aim to provide students a physical energy outlet while teaching them habits and tips that will contribute to their lifelong health.
Each year we host a boys basketball team of 13, 3rd-5th grade students. Our team has had great success in the past winning the Boys Future Stars League Championship in 2017 and 2018. I am confident that we can win it all again this year but one thing that could improve our efforts tremendously would be the asset of high-quality indoor basketballs.
The high-quality balls we hope to receive are the same as those used in the games we compete in, but differ tremendously from the ones we have available to practice with.
Indoor basketball materials tend to be softer and provide even better grip than the best outdoor basketballs. This also means that by using these high-grade materials, indoor basketballs tend to be more expensive than the ones used outdoors. The standard basketballs that are provided to us are meant for outdoor use and, because of limited supply, these basketballs are also used daily by the 500 gym class students. As you might imagine after several years of play, the quality of these balls hinder their performance in our practice sessions therefore hinder the performance of my athletes.
The 7 high-quality indoor balls we hope to receive would be designated for the exclusive use of the boys' basketball team and would surely propel our practice sessions to the next level.
