Celebrating Black History Month

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My school is a small school. It is a great place to teach, learn and grow, however, it is not without it's challenges. My students come from different socioeconomic backgrounds which can provide daily struggles for some. Despite those challenges the students are still resilient.

The athletes here are just as strong.

We have many students who are eager to learn the sport of basketball and those who are already skilled but need to learn the art of good sportsmanship.

My Project

My project is for a few basic items that my basketball players need such as personal hygiene items, floor tape and an air pump.

There are a few players in need of some personal items and I would like to be able to provide those items for my players when they are in need.

The floor tape is good at marking the floors for certain drills and the air pump would be a replacement for a pump that recently stop working.

I would appreciate any generous donation to this project.
