This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am asking for support in getting our basketball team(s) new jerseys. Currently the jerseys we have are over 20 years-old. Our students deserve to have newer clean jerseys to wear. Our school is a Title I school that believes in supporting our students as much as we can. We do not charge our students to play sports, and we do not charge for uniforms. Our students just simply can not afford to pay fees to play and pay for new uniforms. Many students would be excluded from school sports if we did charge. This is a great concept, but we rely on donors to help us fund these sports for our students.

It is my goal to be able to get new basketball jerseys to replace our old worn-out jerseys.

My students are my whole world and I would do anything for them. Please help me in this journey to supply them with new jerseys that we can use for years to come. My students love basketball and it is a sport that really helps them learn important life skills like teamwork and determination. Thank you for supporting us!
