My students need jump ropes, dribble specs, and yoga straps for training. This will go a long way in helping our student/athletes be successful on and off the court!
I would like my students/athletes to be more skilled on & off the court. To be able to work together & grow each day with the necessary equipment to make that possible. Pushing them to improve each day with mental & physical exercises will allow them to grow individually and collectively as a team.
My students are outstanding student-athletes who represent their school who class and honor.
We focus on academics first and foremost and then our team. With the rising costs and our school being a title I school fundraising for us has been difficult.
My Project
We have three levels for our students (Varsity, JV and Freshman). Each level has a coach that works with 10-12 student/athletes. We have a total of 32 students. We need the score-books to use in games because that is the official book that must be used. We also need the clipboards to demonstrate and facilitate learning while teaching the students where to be for certain scenarios. The jump ropes, yoga straps, and specs are needed for strength and agility training with and without balls. This allows us to train them outdoors since using the weight room is not possible. And lastly the duffel bags will provide us with the necessary storage for our equipment.

It will improve our classroom by allowing us to focus more on academics and team concepts. It will also allow my students to have the necessary tools to improve their overall skill level to compete & perform to the best of their ability during season. We plan to give back to the community by community service projects. Giving our time will be a way our students can give back for being so blessed to have these donations.
