My Students

We are a Title I school, most of our scholars come from disadvantaged families and have special needs. We are a school with minimum resources, and our scholars work hard each and every day to achieve success. My students are one of a kind, I wouldn't even say that, they are extraordinary! They love coming to my class and I love seeing their happy smiles as well. Teaching my students about living a healthy lifestyle through fitness and health is very important. I truly believe it also helps students academically in the classroom.

My Project

I am a proud coach of a middle school basketball team full of awesome boys on and off the court. They are determined and self-motivated to become better basketball players. We are a team and most importantly a family. I need more basketballs for practice and play. The ones we currently have are old and falling apart. Having more basketballs will help cut some of the financial costs that players and parents have to absorb during the season. With your support, we can focus more on the game than on finances. I don't want finances to be the reason why some boys don't play basketball.
