Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Every morning I go to my classroom, I am embraced by my students. My students are phenomenal little human beings. They are full of life, spirit, energy, and hunger to learn. They remind me of me. They are full of happiness and joy to learn, give, play, and share with the world.
My students lift me up and inspire me every day to be the best person that I can be.
The way they embrace learning gives me hope in our coming future.
My Project
For this project, we are in need of large paper for anchor charts as we start this New Year. I am down to my last one in the classroom and we are in need of anchor charts so that the students can have visuals as they prepare for their tests and classwork projects.
We are in desperate need of anchor chart paper, highlighters, clear sleeves, and astrobrights paper for students to use as we come back from our winter break.
Students really need anchor charts to help them visualize their learning. The plastic sleeves, will be very helpful for student binders that I have created for small group centers. Highlighters are needed as students learn to highlight the passage to find details to support their answers, something they will need in their state tests. Finally, students and myself could really use astrobrights paper so that parents can be sent home parent letters and information on testing or dates. Please help us get these supplies to our students this year.
