Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Our school is located in southwest Detroit. My students come to school eager and ready to learn. A majority of my students are English Language Learners (ELL/ESL). Their native language is Spanish, with little English at home. It is necessary to provide them with as many learning opportunities as possible within the classroom.
My students are amazing.
They are unique in their own way and have different learning styles. A variety of learning tools and hands-on activities in my classroom are a must. My goal is to help them achieve all their goals and dreams.
My Project
Now that we have ended 2019 we need to start thinking ahead to 2020 with back to basics! We are restarting our classroom and we need to make sure we have the supplies to do it within order to run an orderly and organized classroom!
With your donation of laminating sheets, folders, and pencils we will make sure that each of our students has the materials that they need in order to successfully soar in our classroom.
If we receive these donations, my students will then have enough supplies for us to last the entire school year! The folders, pencils, and laminating sheets will help keep our room and students more organized. We hope you can donate to our project so our new students can have a great start to 2020!
