Help me give my students all of the classroom supplies that take our room from BASIC to BRILLIANT! Students will have all that they need for a successful and creative classroom!
I teach 4th grade in a suburb of North Carolina. My students are bright, eager to learn, and full of hopes and dreams. They come from a variety of backgrounds and work together in pairs, small groups, and individually to show mastery in math and science. This is my 26th year as an educator and I hope to provide this group with experiences they will forever remember!
I want this group of students to have all the necessary tools to apply their skills to higher level thinking and problem solving, while using 21st century skills and accessing a variety of educational resources- while loving their environment.
Students will work individually, with partners, and in small groups as they apply these skills.
My Project
These materials will provide all students with the basics that are the same for everyone. Each child will have their own water bottle, ear buds, and school supplies. Many students are not able to bring in water bottles, headphones, and other necessary school supplies.
When students feel motivated and excited to come to school, they value their environment and learning experiences.
By providing my students with these extras, they will be encouraged to perform and engage in our lessons. Flexible seating options and the other various school supplies will add value to our existing curriculum and positively impact student achievement.
