Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

These items (storage bins, play-doh, markers, pencils) will allow my students to continue to work on identifying their feelings and learn to use appropriate coping skills when they are feeling mad or upset while they are in my office. Working on these skills early in life will help them succeed far beyond the classroom and school. The art supplies will help my students complete various social-emotional activities that center around feeling identification and positive self-esteem.

Re-supplying our art cabinet will help my students continue to work on building positive coping skills and enhance their social-emotional learning.
