My classroom consists of special needs and typically developed children in an inclusive classroom setting. They range from three to five years old and participate in North Carolina's Pre-kindergarten program that seeks to prepare them for when they enter Kindergarten.
My students are working on developing cognitive skills that will help them with Kindergarten readiness.
They work on skills both academic, including pre-reading skills, and physical skills such as hopping on one foot. All of these varied skills help my students thrive when they move on to Kindergarten.
My Project
My students need basic materials to use when making art projects. With your help my students can get started making beautiful art projects. They need card stock paper, wooden circles for making crafts, crayons, colorful dot markers and also some scissors for cutting paper and developing their cutting skills.
Basic supplies will help build my children’s developmental skills.
These basic materials of crayons, dot markers, scissors, card stock paper and wooden art pieces will help my students be creative by supplying them with the supplies that they can use their imagination to create. With your help the children in my class will be able to start creating!
