Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Every day my students walk into our classroom full of life, ready to learn, and excited for what is in store for them that day. I teach at a Title I school in Los Angeles, California where 100 percent of our students receive free breakfast and lunch. Despite so many hardships, my students are eager to learn and do their best. They want to be in school, because they want to learn all they can, so they can be successful one day.
My Project
I am requesting storage filing plastic boxes to store our student portfolios. Being able to track student progress and keep data is very important. Parents appreciate when they are informed of their child's progress and are given clear evidence of their child's progress. The filing boxes allow me to organize student files for easy access. We are also requesting a pack of color paper. The color paper will be used to print centers and flashcards. It will also be used to print important flyers that need to go home. We look forward to getting this project funded and are thankful for the donors that will support us.
