Basic Supplies to Get Through the End of the Year!

Help me give my students basic supplies to get though the end of the year. We are in need of a pencil sharpener, pencils, and glue sticks to be able to do our school work throughout the day.

My Students

I teach at a Title I school in Jacksonville, Florida, where more than half of the students receive free or reduced-price lunch. Many of my students have a love for learning but have not been out of the state or even the city, so many times we travel through literature. They get so excited to explore different cities, states, and countries! My students are faced with many challenges both in and outside the classroom. Even with these challenge, I create a safe, fun, and exciting learning environment where they are loved and respected. By doing this, I hope to create an inspiring learning environment where they believe they have the potential to do anything.

My Project

My students are in need of basic supplies such as pencils and glue sticks to be able to complete every day tasks. I work at a Title I school, and these items are hard (as basic as they are) for my parents to afford. We use glue sticks through out the day on our interactive notebooks and are in desperate need of them. We are also in need of a new pencil sharpener since our current one is broken. Receiving these basic supplies will allow my students to succeed and create positive learning outcomes. We would be so grateful if these supplies were fulfilled.
