Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
The students in my classroom come from a wide variety of backgrounds. Most of the students in my classroom are Hispanics and are trying their best to assimilate to a new country. Unfortunately most of them don’t have enough resources to be able to afford supplies.
My Project
In order for students to succeed in the classroom, they need their basic supplies. On a daily basis, I’m faced with the harsh reality that some of my students parents can’t afford to buy basic supplies for their child. My students come from low income household and don’t always come to school with the necessary supplies to do their work and succeed. This project will help me supply my students with pencils, scissors, paper, notebooks, folders, and much more. I know that once they have these supplies, they will succeed in my class.
