I teach a wonderful group of high school students in the special education setting. All of my students are very energetic, enjoy learning new material, and love doing activities that require hands-on learning.
The main focus for students in my classroom is learning life skills.
My students are truly the most caring individuals that you will ever meet. They appreciate everything and everyone.
Our school funding is limited and extra supplies and materials often come from the pockets of the teachers. This makes it difficult to provide everything that is needed in the classroom. We have a great and caring staff that works hard to make sure all of our students have what they need to succeed.
My Project
My students need basic school supplies, such as binders, divider tabs, laminating sheets, and Sharpies. The binders, dividers, and Sharpies will be used on a daily basis. The laminating sheets will be used to create materials that can be durable and used for several years.
Imagine being in a classroom where all supplies that you need are at your fingertips.
My students deserve to have needed supplies at their fingertips. All of my students struggle in all academic areas and receive special education services. They are all hard workers and want to succeed. These supplies will be used by everyone in my classroom for all academic areas.
