Help me give my students materials to help keep them focused until the end of the year: construction paper, batteries, highlighters and scissors.
This project expired on May 23, 2019.
Hooray! This project is fully funded
I have 55 amazing fourth-grade students, which includes special education students, English Language Learners, students with ADHD, and intervention students.
They are very enthusiastic about learning and are always eager to explore something new.
They love coming to school every day and always have big smiles on their faces. They attend a wonderful school in Pennsylvania. These students enjoy learning and exploring every day during our math and science classes. All my students learn differently, and this is why I like to have a wide variety of options for them available daily.
Help me give my students many supplies that we are quickly running out of! Many of our scissors are breaking or no longer cut paper for our interactive science notebooks. In fourth grade we don't have a text book. To help aide parents with resources to go home to study, students create these interactive notebooks full of all the wonderful information we are learning during class. The supply of construction paper we had is almost gone and some colors we no longer have at all. This paper will allow my students to create artistic math projects. One of my favorites is our hot cocoa mugs for division. Batteries are an essential in our classroom for science class and STEM coding activities. These are used during our science lessons for electricity as well as light. We use flashlights to learn about light optics. Highlighters are no longer highlighting in yellow from being used so much during math. Students love to highlight the key words in a problem but to do so, working highlighters are needed.
Help us finish our school year STRONG with all the supplies we need!
Many students in my classroom have unique ways of learning since many have ADHD. These materials are going to help keep these students focused and successful in my room. Your donation to our classroom, will help ensure we learn what we need to without any disruptions! We truly appreciate your help in supplying us with these materials.
