This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
My students are students with a lot of energy and determination who have a love for reading, writing, and social studies. I currently have forty students in my two classes. The students in my classroom are vibrant, excited, and eager to learn. They come from a low-income, high-poverty school district.
Many parents are not able to provide the life experiences that many of us would see as “typical.” It is my honor to educate these students, and I always strive to provide the best educational experiences.
"Energetic" and "excited to learn" are the best ways I can describe my students. The majority of my students receive free or reduced-price lunch.
My Project
My students love learning. My students usually start the school year with no school supplies. I try to reach out to the community or local churches to help. This year we haven't been successful at all in getting these supplies.
This year my students really struggled bringing in the basics.
Each student will get glue, and paper. These are the basics necessities to help my students continue learning this school year.
My students will be able to use the resources in each course that I teach. My students are intrigued with learning and I want to make sure that they have everything that they need.
