My students are inquisitive and eager to learn. They are busy people who enjoy communicating with each other. They love to run and play. They enjoy learning with film clips and videos.
My students are beginning to be good writers and are very strong in math.
They are strong readers and are just now understanding how to respond to reading. My kids have ready smiles and love to dress for special days. Second grade is a time of fun and of learning.
My Project
My project is all about the basics. As we approach second semester, we are running low on many basic supplies. The pencils and erasers I am requesting will help my students continue to become great writers. As we approach the third quarter, we will begin to work on persuasive writing. Good pencils and erasers will be greatly appreciated.
Our students require a number of supplies to approach learning in a hands on way.
The dry erase markers will allow our students to practice math on their white boards and also to show their work on the classroom board. They are even able to write on their desks! They love that! The Sharpie markers will be welcomed by teachers to create anchor charts to aid in student learning.
