Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Our school has a college-bound focus as well as an emphasis on the arts. My students ROCK! They work so hard every day to learn and grow. I'm so proud of them. We create a close learning community and take great pride in our classroom environment.
Our school motto is "No Excuses!" This means that all staff, parents and students are held accountable for working hard and preparing students to eventually attend college if they so choose.

My Project
It takes a lot of supplies to run an efficient and organized learning environment for 25 third graders. My school budget runs out quickly and students are often unable to provide their own supplies.
I often end up purchasing many supplies myself for my classroom.
A new school year is exciting, and fresh new supplies help make learning engaging and motivating for my students! We need study carrels to keep focus and concentration high, pens and markers for decorating our beautiful work, scissors and glue to complete projects, and durable folders to organize papers. With your help our classroom will be running smoothly and efficiently!
