Help me give my students chenille Stems, Pom Poms, Big Alphabet and Picture Stencils, Mix & Match Emotion Stencils, Stikki Wax Combo Pack, and Water Tints to resupply the are and sand and water centers.
This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
I teach in a Title I school in North Carolina and many of my students are at risk of academic failure. This is many of my students' first time in a school setting. The early learners in my class are more interested in the process of discovering and manipulating materials than the final products of their experiments.
Learning experiences are meaningful and relevant for every child and reflect his or her developmental, cultural, and individual circumstances.
My students love to move and be active. However, because of recent budget cuts, we are unable to purchase additional resources such as the ones requested.
My Project
The chenille stems, pom poms, and stencils are materials that will allow my student access to various art and creativity activities. My students are beginning to explore their artistic abilities and enjoy exploring materials. Also the water color tints will experience help my students explore color mixing with water. The students will be able to create a variety of scenarios when playing in the water such as a boat in the ocean, cooking soup, and many more ideas.
They will be able to express themselves through art and play using their senses and unique art tools!
They will utilize their fine motor skills while highlighting their vivid imaginations!
