My school district is a Title l school and I believe the arts play a major role in the development for each and everyone of my students. I teach a variety of personalities, abilities and various skill levels. I want my students to feel successful when they are in my classroom. They are a close knit group, unlike any I have ever taught before. I'm blessed to have such a caring and compassionate group of students that look out for each other and encourage each other to succeed.
Some of my students struggle with their core subjects but excel in the arts.
I also have several students with autism and this particular painting project allows everyone to be successful. That's why I feel this project is so important. It can only happen with the help of DonorsChoose. My students definitely deserve a chance to succeed!
My Project
My students have been asked to create painted ceiling tiles for a local business. While the tiles are donated the paint and the supplies are not. Your donations will help our school achieve this goal.
I can't think of a better way to show how the fine arts influence everyone.
With your help, my students will also have extra paint and tools and be able to create color wheels while learning about color theory.
