My students need basic school supplies such as notebook paper, crayons, glue sticks, construction paper, dry erase markers for stations and Staples instant hand sanitizer to help us be healthy.
This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
My students are excited to learn. They enjoy hands on learning of any kind. They enjoy doing creative type projects for our different units of study.
My students are a joy to teach!
We have a lot of fun during our station activities, working on projects, and throughout the day in general. I love that my students are so curious and full of questions. They sometimes get nervous that something is too hard. I love it when they tell me "that was easy "when a task was too hard at the beginning.
My Project
My students love working on various hands on projects. We use Pacon Sunbelt heavyweight construction paper, crayons, and glue sticks to create projects based on whatever unit we are working on. My students will use the Color Splash crayons to draw pictures of the states of matter, depict the houses that the Georgia Indians lived in, and they will create geometric shapes with our construction paper.
We use these items throughout all of our curriculum.
We use the dry erase markers for our station times during language arts and math.My students practice their phonics with the dry erase markers by sounding out words for spelling and also practice math facts and regrouping problems during math. My students need these items to be successful.
