Basic School Supplies Needed for Kindergarten Success!
Help me give my students supplies for our classroom for day to day use. We need pencils, markers, crayons, whiteboard markers, and highlighters. Just some basics to get us through a successful day of learning.
This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
My students are from a large, urban community that welcomes families from all over the globe. They bring a special blend of linguistic diversity, background knowledge, prior experiences and culture to our school. We are a Title I school in a low-income community, I have thirty-four SEI students in my classroom. Free breakfast and free lunch are available to every child in our building each day.
My students are creative, clever and very enthusiastic about learning.
The majority of my students read below grade level. They would benefit from a variety of classroom resources to help increase their success in school. My students need to have technology experiences that help foster 21st century critical thinkers. I want all of my students to be able to have the use of technology in our classroom on a daily basis.
My Project
Pencils, crayons, markers, whiteboard markers, highlighters, and folders are all basic supplies that we need in our classroom. We have run low or even out of some of them. We need materials to help us learn! Many times we run out of basic materials in the middle of the year.
Help replenish our basic classroom supplies so our students can continue learning to their full potential!
These everyday supplies are necessary for student learning. The students at our school work very hard to be successful. Unfortunately, they do not always have the tools they need for school. These supplies are not only needed but would help students produce work they can be proud to finish. The supplies would be used by our whole class! Please help our students continue to learn by donating basic school supplies to our classroom.
