My students need basic school supplies such as notebooks, binder paper, pencils and erasers. For an interactive classroom, I want to be able to provide my students with their own dry erase markers and erasers.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My scholars are wonderful children growing up in a very diverse community. Located in the heart of the East Bay, they are encouraged and challenged to voice their opinion and stand for what they believe is right. Many of our students are actually transfers from Oakland.
They are eager to learn science and help out their community in any way that they can.
With technology becoming more prevalent in our classrooms, our students and our teachers need to be up-to-date. My scholars are so hard working and make good decisions every day. However, anyone who is involved with the educational system knows that a huge effort goes to motivating our students. As I grow professionally, I am always looking for ways to improve and inspire my scholars.
My Project
All my students come from various backgrounds -- unfortunately, the students and their families have more to worry about then school supplies. With your help, we can get these supplies to help take off one more thing off of their shoulders.
Some of my students struggle with getting notebooks, pencils, binder paper, folders, or erasers to class.
Supplies will be with me so in the need, I can easily provide my students with a pencil or a notebook to use in my class or their other classes. This project can help my students further their academic career with one less obstacle.
