This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My students are very enthusiastic and dynamic. They very much benefit from hands on learning and when they grow in confidence they come up with very thoughtful questions.

My students love experiments and working together to solve problems and work through the scientific method.

Continuing to learn through different hands on activities is very beneficial for them as lifelong learners. I hope that the more they experience STEM projects in a hands on way the more they will be able to apply themselves. Once they are able to do that then they will find more joy in what they are learning and doing and hopefully find a career in science in the future.

My Project

My students just like most students, enjoy doing hands on projects and working with their hands during science class. I enjoy doing the same thing,however, it is difficult to do when there are not enough materials to go around. When there are enough materials it encourages the students to explore possibilities of potential careers that they had not thought possible.

With these materials my students will be able to do more hands on projects and activities to enhance their learning.

They will be able to do more experiments and hopefully become more interested in STEM. Thank you so much for all of your support!
