My Students

I teach 6th grade math and science at an Intermediate school in Kentucky. The school I am at is a low income, Title I, school which means many of these students’ families do not have the resources needed to donate extra supplies to the classroom.

Our school is focusing on teaching students to be global 21st Century citizens by creating positive classroom environments in which students collaboratively learn with one another.

In order to provide this opportunity to students, I will be using many research based strategies and small group instruction to best meet student needs.

I have created this wish list in hopes of collecting supplies for my classroom and would love any donations. Any supplies donated would be used to enhance student learning.

My Project

This project will provide students with basic supplies to be successful in the classroom. As we are halfway through the year, many necessary supplies are beginning to run low. The school I am at is low income and many families may not have the financial ability to purchase more supplies or donate to the classroom.

Your donation will help the class to run efficiently and ensure all students have necessary materials for the remainder of the 2019-2020 school year.

Students use pencils and glue almost daily within the math and science classes and both are a necessity for student learning.
