My students need Dry Erase Lap Boards and Dry Erase Markers in order to show their thinking and participate in the lessons. This will help reduce the amount of paper needed in the classroom as well!

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My 22 students are bright, creative, energetic and eager to learn more. They come from a variety of backgrounds, but all belong to a community school in the inner city. They are all part of low socioeconomic families, receiving free breakfast and lunch, which helps the families tremendously.
The students in my classroom often go out of their way to help others, even with the little amount they have to give.
They are always looking for ways to solve different problems that arise and are continuously thinking of the next best solution.
These students deserve the chance to excel in their education so they can continue to better their lives and the lives of others!
My Project
These materials are requested in order to ensure the incoming 3rd graders the same quality education the 3rd (almost 4th graders) received this school year. After going through all of the classroom supplies I made a list of things that we used often and ran out of along with things that would have been helpful throughout the year.
Items like new markers and crayons will allow the students to show their creativity and bring vibrance into their learning.
While new materials like paper, pencils, and erasers will show the students we care about their education!
Teachers having supplies like large chart paper helps making posters that can be hung up around the classroom so students can reference back to those resources.
