My Students
The students in my third grade class are driven, bubbly, and excited for the upcoming year. We have a large class of thirty two, who all come from diverse backgrounds and have unique stories. A handful of my students are still in the process of learning English, as this is their second year in the country. This year, each student in my class is working on key academic and social goals for the year, which will help them grow as individuals. I am very excited to see their growth as students, and as people!
My Project
My third grade ICT class is about halfway through the year and we are running out of basic classroom materials that we desperately need for everyday instruction. We need printer/copy paper for graphic organizers/homework/ and other learning supports. We need Post-Its everyday for reading and writing workshop. Lastly, we need more whiteboard markers, as our have dried out throughout the first few months of school. My students need these basic supplies to reach success. At the start of the school year, students brought in supplies. However, as most of the students are economically disadvantaged, they cannot afford to bring in more.
