My students need a variety of pocket folders, notebooks, sticky notes as well as clear sheet protectors in order to teach my students organizational skills.
My students come from varied socioeconomic backgrounds. They are eager learners who want to learn, especially when material is presented visually along with hands-on materials for organizational opportunities.
My students can make connections to what they learn when learning is brought to life for them using real models for establishing routines.
Even though my students learn differently from others, they are very capable boys and girls who want to succeed given the proper materials and opportunities. They come to school each and every day and give their best effort. These scholars deserve the very best!
My Project
The varying colored pocket folders, notebooks, clear sheet protectors as well as sticky notes I am requesting will allow my students to take on more responsibility for organizing their materials.
Organization is the key for success as my students learn how to take notes, label subject areas in notebooks as well as protect their homework with clear sheet protectors.
Throughout the year, we need to replenish folders, sticky notes, pencils and erasers. Working without these essential tools makes teaching even more challenging. Having ample opportunities to model routines using these materials will certainly promote the organizational skills needed for my students to succeed.
