This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

The Spartan Band at my middle school needs your support in helping us bring great music to our community and beyond! Traditional music stands are bulky and don't travel well. In order to share our fantastic band students' musical skills we need portable music stands that are collapsible, durable, easy to carry, and will allow our musicians to clearly see their music during a performance away from campus.

Most venues we travel to are not able to accommodate us with music stands and students are stuck trying to read their music from their laps, or having to share the few traditional stands we bring amongst 3 to 4 players.

Help us maintain a great sound and professional appearance as we take advantage of performance opportunities throughout our school's community!
