Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

My school has many students who are low income. All students in my school receive free breakfast and lunch daily. My band students struggle to have the supplies they need to be successful in class. I have students who are not able to practice and perform on their instrument due to not having a working reed for the instrument. This project will allow the students to have reeds for the oboe and bassoon. It will also allow my students to work with the Dr. Beat to keep a steady beat in class and allow the percussion students to work on their technique using the practice pads without taking away from the other students who are working in the classroom.

By donating to this project, you will help my students be better prepared and more successful in class.

This will allow my students to focus on learning and not on what they do not have for class.
