My students need the book Amelias Bully Survival Guide by Marissa Moss, and a laptop to help learn how to handle a bullying.
This project expired on June 29, 2012.
Hooray! This project is fully funded
Have you ever been bullied by someone in your past? Were you afraid to tell someone in fear of retaliation? If you have, then you know how my students feel when they are being bullied.
My students come from a low sociol-economic background.
We are centrally located in the heart of Los Angeles. Our school's population is 630 students. We all received free breakfast and lunch. Our student population include primarily of Hispanics and Asians.
I will use the book to teach students about the awareness of bullying and how they can protect themselves from bullies should they ever encounter one. The laptop will be used to help teach my students using technological resources such online videos regarding bullying, research, and writing reports.
This is a life saving lesson I need to teach my students in this day and age of epidemic bullying and teasing.
Students will learn how to spot bullies and learn ways to avoid them in the future and better protect themselves in situations where they are faced with bullies.
