Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I am The Coach of some amazing student athletes. These students utilize the character learned on the athletic fields in the classroom and the community.
The time and effort put into competing at a high level and still maintaining excellent grades in the classroom is something that builds great people.
Committed, concerned, and caring are some the characteristics that would describe the student athletes that I work with on a daily basis.
Classmanship! Which is a combination of Class and Sportsmanship. This phrase was coined by a special needs boy that has been the team manager for over 10 years.
My Project
The balls and gloves that I am requesting for my student/athletes already have a "home." In other words, I know exactly how they will be used. We just need your help in getting everything to the field! The balls will be utilized for training in the areas of fielding, hitting and hitting. The gloves will allow those that can't finance one on their own to utilize team gloves for training in fielding.
The donations to this project will help to provide my student/athletes with some of the equipment needed for competitive performance.
These items will truly help alleviate some of the pressures of finding ways to provide these items for these special student/athletes.
