I am proud to teach at our school in Idaho where it is very rural and beautiful. Our school has a total of 40 students ranging from grades K-5. We have two certified teachers, one part time paraprofessional, and one part time secretary. It is basically a two room schoolhouse and education is a mix between current Common Core practices and the old foundation of the "one room schoolhouse." I am excited to be a part of a truly unique environment!
My Project
Recess is a very important time for our students. They need adequate and engaging outdoor equipment and cold packs for when slight injuries occur.
Our school is in need of a replacement tether ball, small basketballs, and cold packs for injuries.
This fall, our small elementary was able to purchase a new adjustable basketball hoop through fundraisers. This will allow our younger and smaller students to be able to participate in basketball like the elder students. Although we have purchased the hoop, we are now in need of smaller balls for the smaller hoop set up.
Students were distraught when the wind finished off our weather rotten tether ball earlier this school year, please help us fund a replacement.
