My Students
"You got a wrinkle!! Hooray!" These are the words my class uses most frequently! To most people this sounds pretty crazy but in our class we know that it means that someone made a mistake and learned from it, creating a wrinkle in their brain! We thrive on making mistakes and learning from them and I teach my students that these mistakes are crucial in having success.
As a building, students at HP are learning to be leaders of their own learning, leaders of their own decisions, and leaders of their own success in life.
We are always working on projects that show how we shine and are always giving the students the opportunities to explore, create, and lead the way.
My Project
The students in my third grade class deserve the best environment that I can give them to be successful. Right now, they are sitting in their plastic chairs at their metal desks day after day like little businessmen! As I watch my students I can tell that they need more chances to move. Flex Space Balance Ball Seats from Lakeshore Learning are the perfect solution to allow my students to wiggle and move while still accomplishing our classroom learning goals. These stability balls will help my more active students focus on their tasks and not feel like they are stuck in one spot all day. They will give all students more choices to pick a spot to sit where they can be their at own personal best.
