My Students

My 2nd grade students are bright, charismatic children who always try their best. Second grade is a fun year when students really learn how to love learning. My students work hard to do their best and get the most out of the day.

With the constant demand to perform well on tests the students can sometimes feel overwhelmed and stressed.

While some of my students can handle the pressure it is not always easy for all of them. However they keep pushing through. My students are fighters.

My Project

Frequently in education we focus on math and language arts. Sometimes we forget that the students need education in health, science, and social studies as well. Having access to the "Brainpop Jr." website will allow me to better support my students learning in these subjects. It will give us extra resources such as videos, lessons, and games that are related to the curriculum they are learning in a fun way. Second graders love learning about health, science, and social studies. With limited time for these lessons, the resources on "Brainpop" will allow us to learn fun things without worrying about losing any learning in reading or math.
