My Students

We are a fourth grade team of 57 students in suburban Pittsburgh, PA from a 4-6 building. Being a fourth grader is tough work as it is the first year with many new faces all combining from the district's five primary schools. The students love having their own lockers with locks and a bit more freedom in the bigger school. We love to read, problem solve, and collaborate. We take pride in our learning and work hard to prepare for the future.

My Project

My students need a Flex-Space Balance Ball set to use as flexible seating options in the classroom. We have three balance balls already, but they are a very popular classroom item and getting 6 more from the Balance Ball Set will give students even further options in the classroom.

The balance balls will increase student attention by giving them the opportunity for movement.

The balance balls will be able to be used at student desks or in small groups with the use of a clipboard as a writing space. The flexibility of being able to move the balance balls around the room will give students personal and creative space to work in. The addition of the Flex-Space Balance Ball Set will provide students beneficial opportunities for movement and will be a well-loved resource in our classroom.
