My Students

Welcome to the Leaders classroom! We are a high energy hard-working group of (29) 5-year-olds and one teacher who loves them.

Leaders are engaged in many different activities and have a thirst for knowledge.

The students are immersed in many unique types of learning from one-on-one time, to whole group discussions, buddies, and time spent pondering ideas. Leaders love to be creative and share/teach others what they have learned. This fosters a love of learning that will stay with these kids and last forever!

My Project

The balance balls will allow students to wiggle while they work. This helps students to focus on their work. When they have the flexibility to choose a seat it helps them be more fully engaged in their learning.

The students have other options in the classroom and this would be a welcome addition for more choices.

When giving students a choice of seating they feel empowered and work harder. When students work harder they achieve more and they have higher self esteem and believe in themselves. It is so exciting to watch students connect with each other and learning through the ability to wiggle.
