Help me give my students the ability to participate in brain breaks in our classrooms with the Bal-A-Vis-X exercises. The bean bags, sky bounce balls, and cones will help my students learn and perform the exercises.
This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
My students are hungry, not only for the food in the cafeteria but also for activities that are challenging them in Physical Education. They have the basic understanding of most sports and activities but enjoy learning new skills and sports. They also enjoy tracking their participation and activities.
My students are an inspiration to be around and work with.
They come from some of the lowest levels of poverty but are amazing young people. Having the opportunity and the proper equipment to enjoy and learn a new sport or skill they have already learned with the correct equipment would be great. They would also benefit from using tools for science, math, technology, and engineering in Physical Education. The students deal with a lot in and out of school. The teachers, staff, and others involved with the school truly care for each and every student and everyone involved with the school.

My students will learn about the benefits of brain breaks with Bal-A-Vis-X exercises. Bal-A-Vis-X exercises is balance, auditory, and visual exercises. These exercises help rise efficiency, stress relief, decrease body and brain tension, spark creative ideas, and activate the brain boosting positive attitudes.
Bal-A-Vis-X is the combination of Balance, Auditory, Visual exercises to boost the brain.
Research reveals that 85% of students are kinesthetic learners and that retention of new ideas are enhanced when children are moving and being creative.
My students will benefit and grow from this activity because it will help them become more knowledgeable, creative, and ready to learn. This project will make a difference by allowing the students to boost their brain with balance, auditory, and visual exercises in the classroom and during PE.
