Celebrating Black History Month

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

Dance offers an outlet for students to express a variety of emotions and show school spirit and pride. As we prepare for students to join a brand new school dance team to our school and perform for upcoming performances this school year, consideration must be given to what these performances would entail.

Having a team bag to carry their water bottles, costumes, dance shoes, and anything else they would need will allow all our dancers to come to practices, tournaments, and games prepared.

Many of my dancers will constantly forget the things they need for practices and games, but these bags will help them stay more organized. The wipes can be kept in their bags and they will allow them to freshen up in between performances.

Being able to promote school spirit and pride gives the dance team a sense of purpose and confidence in themselves. As members of the school's dance team, participants are afforded opportunities to increase their skills in collaboration, creativity, critical thinking, discipline, and leadership. Thank you for any help you provide our team and our athletic boosters.
